Nanotoxicology Particle Panels

In order to address specific hypotheses regarding the properties of nanoparticles and toxicity, nanoComposix has assembled panels of particles for comparative testing.  The material included in each panel has been selected based on interest from the research community, amount of material being incorporated into commercial products, and potential for the material to contact the public, workers in the nanomaterial industry, or the environment.

Colloidal Nanoparticle Toxicology Panels

Our colloidal nanoparticle panels are based off our BioPure Silver and BioPure Gold nanoparticle product lines.  Although we offer a set package of sizes, any size can be substituted with other advertised BioPure products.  Buying nanoparticle panels allows for sampling multiple size nanoparticle formulations at a reduced cost.

Powdered Nanoparticle Toxicology Panels

The powdered nanoparticle panels allow for the testing of relevant panels focusing on set variables.  These can be suites of different size, crystallinity, surface, and other class of panels.

All particle panels have undergone extensive characterization which may include:

• hydrophobicity
• ionization potential
• size, mass, and surface distribution
• shape
• suspension protocol
• agglomeration state in solution
• stability
• absorbance
• surface chemistry
• residual analysis and surface charge

Entire panels or individual samples can be purchased.  NanoComposix also offers a selection service to assist you in picking the most appropriate materials for testing your particular hypothesis.  Specification sheets are available upon request.
