Post Does pH affect silver?
I would like to suspend silver in physiological media. Do I need to be concerned about how changing the pH will affect the silver?

As with any uncoated nanoparticles, media will cause problems with aggregation of the material upon introduction to salt containing media. The pH of the silver nanoparticles are between 7.1 and 7.4. Further increasing the pH will not impact the particles until you reach a pH >10.
