Laboratory Assistant - Full Time

Position Description:

The candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including order fulfillment, inventory management, glassware cleaning and general laboratory maintenance. Other tasks may include lab infrastructure projects, administrative assistance, and the handling and characterization of nanomaterials. This is a full time position with a complete benefits package that includes health care and a retirement plan. The rate of pay is dependant on previous experience. <p>

Essential Requirements:

  • 1+ years of university level education preferably in science or engineering or equivalent experience

Desired Characteristics:

  • Previous experience working in a laboratory
  • Organized with an ability to clearly communicate and produce written documentation
  • Capable of multi-tasking
  • Motivated and a quick learner
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, start-up environment
